Welcome to my portfolio! A little bit about me:

I graduated from Santa Clara University in December 2022 with a Master of Science in Business Analytics.

I have a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Minor in Data Science from UC Berkeley and graduated in 2021 (Go Bears!)

To further my education on my own, I’m currently working on both a Google Digital Marketing and E-commerce Professional Certificate and a Meta Social Media Marketing Professional Certificate. I’m also learning Japanese (本当に楽しいです!)

Storytelling drives everything I do. I combine creativity and data as I pursue my goal of working in tech and media marketing to amplify underrepresented voices, especially AAPI. Designing creative assets, editing influencer videos, writing engaging copy? Crafting a product marketing campaign, visualizing data in Python and R, researching competitors? I’ve got experience on both sides and am always trying to learn more so I can be an all-rounded marketer. Plus, my education in human behavior lets me understand both rational and emotional decision-making.

On the side, I’m a writer and director (I did say storytelling drives everything I do!) What started as an interest in film scores (talk to me about Hans Zimmer) quickly developed into an itch to learn about the filmmaking process and a desire to tell the stories I wish I saw growing up. A summer filmmaking intensive at the New York Film Academy in 2018 helped me kickstart this passion. Today, I continue to direct short films, write pilots and feature screenplays, crew on my friends’ projects as a cinematographer, write poetry, prose, songs and film reviews, and photograph the world around me. My dream is to write, direct, and co-score a movie or series one day.

Evidently, that wasn’t enough art for me and I don’t know how to sit still. I’ve been making jewelry for myself and my friends since I was 11 and just launched my online store. Come find me on Etsy or on Instagram @IyerlandStudios.
